Plain-language privacy for a text-analysis tool.

Bias Detect is operated by HW Saver LLP, a limited liability partnership based in India. For anything in this policy — questions, requests, complaints — write to ashlx@hwsaver.com.

Account data: your email address and profile details from your sign-in provider.

Analysis data: the text you paste for analysis, the structured reports generated from it, and analysis metadata such as timestamps, model used, and credit cost.

Billing data: your credit ledger entries, subscription plan and status, and the billing event records Clerk sends us.

To show you your analysis history, maintain an accurate credit balance, debug failed analyses, prevent billing disputes, and grant the correct monthly credits when your subscription renews.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your pasted text to train models.

Text you submit for analysis is sent to third-party AI model providers, routed through Vercel AI Gateway.

Only paste text you are comfortable having processed by AI providers. Bias Detect stores input by default so you can revisit reports.

Subscriptions are handled by Clerk with Stripe as the payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe.

We store the subscription events Clerk sends us — plan, status, billing period — so we can grant credits correctly and keep an audit trail.

To our systems, your card number is 0000 0000 0000 — permanently redacted. It exists only at Stripe.

These are the providers that handle your data, and exactly what each one receives.

• ClerkAuthentication and subscription billing. Receives your email, profile details, and subscription state.
• StripePayment processing, connected through Clerk. Receives your card details directly — they never pass through our servers.
• NeonDatabase hosting (Postgres). Stores your analyses, reports, credit ledger, and billing event records.
• VercelApplication hosting, AI Gateway routing, and bot protection on the analysis endpoint.
• AI model providersReceive the text you submit, routed through Vercel AI Gateway, to produce the analysis report. Providers may change as the product evolves.

We use authentication session cookies set by Clerk so you stay signed in. We do not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

Your data is kept while your account is open. To delete your account and its data, email ashlx@hwsaver.com and we will remove your analyses, reports, and profile data.

Billing and credit ledger records may be retained where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Bias Detect is not built for secrets, regulated health data, legal case files, or highly sensitive personal data. Do not paste content you are not permitted — or not comfortable — to share with AI processing providers.
